Ladbrokes has stopped betting on BBC reveal the Great British Bake Off after a flurry of wagers triggered worries the winner's name may have been dripped.

"A run of bets" was put for one entrant, many at stores in the Ipswich area, the bookmaker stated.

It is not understood which baker prompted the flurry or whether any contestants have connections with the yohaig code Suffolk town.
The first episode of the popular amateur baking contest aired on BBC One Wednesday night.
It is the sixth series of the program, which challenges 12 hopefuls to impress judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood.

Every week the amateur bakers are expected to take on a baking obstacle, with very little guidelines, and provide a "signature dish".
'Soggy bottom'
The bookie stated a flurry of bets came in for one of the 12 entrants whose chances started at 12/1 and were to 6/1, 3/1 and then evens.
"We provided prices on Monday and, nearly before the ink was dry, an uncommon variety of punters were in a rush to back just one contestant," David Williams of Ladbrokes stated.
"On Tuesday and Wednesday it was more of the very same one-way traffic. That was enough to set our alarm bells calling and, as a safety measure, we suspended our betting.

"Hopefully, we'll go back up with modified odds faster rather than later, however we didn't want to get captured with our pants pulled down and a soaked bottom, so we have actually decided to take a breather up until we are reassured that Bake Off hasn't gone off currently.
"When you see a run of bets like this promotion code for one entrant at the cost of everyone else that can be an indication to suspend wagering for a bit to assess the circumstance," he included.
Several of the bets positioned were the maximum the yohaig code bookie would consider wagers made on the show's result, and 90% were placed on one participant.
The suspension would not impact bets already put, the company said.
The very first candidate to be knocked out of the competitors on Wednesday evening was Stuart Henshall from Surrey.
The 11 staying entrants are from Berkshire, Lancashire, Cambridgeshire, London, West Yorkshire, Manchester, Essex, Swansea and 2 from Perthshire.
